Referee Seminar in Senegal

The Senegal Karate Federation hosted a Referees' Seminar conducted by Mr. Rafael Ortega from June 5th to June 7th in BCEAO Sports Center of Dakar. 147 persons from 7 countries (Senegal, Cape Verde, Gabon, Gambia, Ivory Coast, Mali and Mauritania) attended the event. The seminar focused on the changes in the competition rules and once it was conluded examinations took place. All participants expressed their total satisfaction and their wish for more events of this type. The Seminar was financed by the WKF as part of its 2009 Development Programme.
